- Oversee and manage all aspects of payroll compliance for clients, ensuring accuracy and adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
- Conduct thorough reviews and audits of payroll processes and data to identify any potential compliance issues.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in payroll laws and regulations, and proactively communicate any updates or changes to the team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain compliant payroll processes and procedures.
- Provide guidance and support to clients on payroll compliance matters, serving as a subject matter expert.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any compliance-related issues or discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner.
- Develop and maintain internal controls and procedures to ensure compliance with all payroll regulations.
- Conduct regular training sessions for team members and clients on compliance best practices.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, such as tax agencies and regulatory bodies, to stay informed about compliance requirements.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives related to payroll compliance, as needed.
- Communicate and escalate any potential compliance risks or concerns to management.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all compliance activities.

Extensive Knowledge Of Payroll Laws And Regulations: A Senior Payroll Compliance Analyst At Gusto Should Have In-Depth Knowledge And Understanding Of Federal, State, And Local Payroll Laws And Regulations, Such As The Fair Labor Standards Act (Flsa) And The Internal Revenue Code (Irc).
Strong Analytical Skills: This Role Requires The Ability To Analyze Complex Payroll Data And Identify Any Discrepancies Or Errors. A Senior Payroll Compliance Analyst Should Have Strong Analytical Skills To Ensure Accuracy And Compliance With Payroll Laws.
Experience With Payroll Systems And Software: Gusto Is A Leading Provider Of Payroll Software, And A Senior Payroll Compliance Analyst Should Be Familiar With The Company's Systems And Software. Previous Experience Using Gusto's Payroll Platform Or Similar Software Is Preferred.
