As a Senior HR Consultant at Gusto, you will play a critical role in providing expert guidance and support to our clients in all areas of human resources.   1. Provide expert guidance and support to clients in all areas of human resources, including but not limited to: employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, training and development, and compliance.
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor and resource for all HR-related matters.
  3. Conduct thorough HR assessments and audits for clients to identify areas of improvement and develop effective solutions.
  4. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements related to human resources and share this knowledge with clients.
  5. Collaborate with clients to develop and implement HR strategies and policies that align with their business goals and values.
  6. Conduct training and workshops for clients to educate and empower them to effectively manage their HR processes and practices.
  7. Serve as a point of contact for complex and sensitive employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to clients to resolve conflicts and maintain a positive work environment.
  8. Act as a liaison between clients and external HR resources, such as legal counsel or third-party vendors, to address specific needs or concerns.
  9. Participate in business development efforts by networking, attending events, and promoting Gusto's HR consulting services.
  10. Mentor and train junior HR consultants, providing them with guidance and support to develop their skills and knowledge.
  11. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and recommendations to ensure quality service and compliance.
  12. Continuously evaluate and improve Gusto's HR consulting services and processes to better serve our clients and meet their evolving needs.
  13. Act as a brand ambassador for Gusto, promoting our mission and values to clients and the broader community.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 8 Years Of Experience In Human Resources, With At Least 3 Years In A Senior Or Leadership Role.

  • Shrm Senior Certified Professional (Shrm-Scp) Or Equivalent Certification.

  • Proven Experience In Developing And Implementing Hr Strategies, Policies, And Procedures.

  • Excellent Communication, Negotiation, And Conflict Resolution Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate And Build Relationships With All Levels Of Employees And Management.
