Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Sales Enablement Learning Partner at Gusto. As part of our Business Development and Mid-Market Accounts team, you will play a critical role in driving sales success by equipping our sales representatives with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in their roles. This position requires a strategic thinker with a passion for learning and development, as well as a strong understanding of sales processes and techniques.   1. Develop and maintain a comprehensive sales training program to improve the skills and knowledge of our sales representatives.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales leaders and subject matter experts, to identify training needs and create effective learning solutions.
  3. Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify knowledge and skill gaps and develop targeted training programs to address them.
  4. Design and deliver engaging and interactive training sessions, both in-person and virtually, that align with our sales strategy and objectives.
  5. Monitor and track the effectiveness of training programs and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  6. Develop and maintain training materials, resources, and tools to support ongoing learning and development.
  7. Work closely with sales leadership to ensure alignment between training initiatives and business goals.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in sales training and incorporate them into our training programs.
  9. Provide coaching and support to sales representatives to reinforce learning and drive continuous improvement.
  10. Act as a liaison between sales and other departments to ensure a consistent and cohesive approach to sales enablement.
  11. Regularly communicate updates and progress on training initiatives to relevant stakeholders.
  12. Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to measure the impact and effectiveness of sales training programs.
  13. Continuously seek out opportunities to improve and enhance our sales enablement processes and strategies.
  14. Serve as a mentor and role model for sales representatives, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development.
  15. Embrace the company's values and mission and embody them in all aspects of the role.

  • Strong Sales Background: A Successful Sales Enablement Learning Partner Should Have A Proven Track Record In Sales, With A Deep Understanding Of The Sales Process And Strategies For Success.

  • Experience In Business Development: This Role Requires The Ability To Identify And Pursue New Business Opportunities, So A Candidate Should Have Experience In Business Development And Lead Generation.

  • Understanding Of Mid-Market Accounts: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of The Needs And Challenges Of Mid-Market Accounts, As Well As Experience In Selling To This Segment.

  • Excellent Communication And Training Skills: As A Learning Partner, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Training And Coaching Sales Teams, So Strong Communication And Training Skills Are Essential.

  • Knowledge Of Gusto's Products And Services: While Not Required, Having Prior Knowledge Or Experience With Gusto's Products And Services Can Be A Valuable Asset In This Role, As It Will Allow The Candidate To Hit The Ground Running And Make An Impact Quickly.
