  1. Lead the development of the Help Platform at Gusto, ensuring its success and alignment with company goals and objectives.
  2. Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, and customer support to gather requirements, prioritize features, and drive product development.
  3. Conduct market research and analyze customer feedback to identify pain points and develop solutions that will improve the overall customer experience.
  4. Collaborate with stakeholders to define the product vision, roadmap, and strategy for the Help Platform.
  5. Set clear goals and objectives for the product and monitor progress to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
  6. Act as the main point of contact for all product-related inquiries and provide regular updates to stakeholders on the progress of the Help Platform.
  7. Regularly review and analyze product metrics to make data-driven decisions and drive continuous improvement.
  8. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and competitor products to stay ahead of the curve and maintain a competitive advantage.
  9. Lead and mentor a team of product managers and provide guidance and support to help them achieve their goals.
  10. Represent Gusto and the Help Platform at industry events and conferences to promote the product and gather feedback from potential customers.
  11. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop effective product messaging and positioning, and support product launches and promotions.
  12. Ensure that the Help Platform meets all regulatory and compliance requirements.
  13. Foster a positive and collaborative work culture within the team and across departments, promoting creativity, innovation, and continuous learning.
  14. Continuously gather and incorporate customer feedback to improve the Help Platform and ensure customer satisfaction.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In Product Management: A Product Lead At Gusto Should Have A Strong Background In Product Management, With At Least 5 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role. This Includes Leading Product Development, Defining Product Strategy, And Managing The Product Roadmap.

  • Knowledge Of Help Platform Technology: A Good Understanding Of Help Platform Technology Is Crucial For This Role. The Product Lead Should Have Experience With Customer Service Software, Help Desk Tools, And Other Relevant Technologies.

  • Leadership Skills: As A Product Lead, One Must Be Able To Lead A Team Of Product Managers And Guide Them Towards Achieving The Company's Goals. This Requires Strong Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Communicate Effectively, Delegate Tasks, And Make Decisions.

  • Customer-Centric Mindset: Gusto Is A Customer-Centric Company, And The Product Lead Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Customer Needs And Pain Points. This Includes Conducting User Research, Analyzing Customer Feedback, And Using Data To Drive Product Decisions.
