  1. Develop and execute the global product strategy for Gusto's international products.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify market opportunities and define product roadmaps.
  3. Drive the development of new features and offerings for international markets.
  4. Lead and inspire a team towards achieving ambitious product goals.
  5. Stay updated on the international market landscape and competitive landscape to inform product decisions.
  6. Manage complex projects and ensure timely delivery of product milestones.
  7. Communicate product vision, roadmap, and progress to stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  8. Conduct market research and gather customer feedback to inform product strategy and improvements.
  9. Work closely with the engineering team to prioritize and deliver product enhancements.
  10. Establish and maintain relationships with international partners and vendors.
  11. Monitor product performance and make data-driven decisions to optimize product offerings.
  12. Identify and anticipate potential challenges and proactively develop solutions.
  13. Mentor and develop team members to drive growth and excellence within the product management team.
  14. Represent Gusto at industry events and conferences to showcase our international products.
  15. Uphold a customer-centric mindset and constantly strive to improve the user experience of our international products.
  16. Continuously evaluate and improve processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness within the product management team.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Product Management Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 8-10 Years Of Experience In Product Management, With A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Launching And Managing International Products. They Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Product Development Lifecycle And Be Able To Lead Cross-Functional Teams To Deliver High-Quality Products.

  • Strong International Market Knowledge: The Principal Product Manager Should Have A Deep Understanding Of International Markets, Including Cultural Nuances, Regulatory Requirements, And Market Trends. They Should Be Able To Identify Market Opportunities And Drive Product Strategy To Capitalize On Them.

  • Leadership And Team Management Skills: This Role Requires Someone Who Can Effectively Lead And Manage A Team Of Product Managers And Cross-Functional Teams, Including Engineering, Design, And Marketing. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication, Collaboration, And Decision-Making Skills To Drive Product Vision And Execution.

  • Strategic Thinking And Problem-Solving Abilities: The Principal Product Manager Should Be Able To Think Strategically And Identify Potential Roadblocks Or Challenges In Launching International Products. They Should Have Strong Problem-Solving Skills To Find Creative Solutions And Drive The Product Forward.

  • Technical Expertise: While The Role Is Primarily Focused On Product Management, Having A Technical Background And Understanding Of Software Development And Engineering Processes Is Highly Desirable. This Will Enable The Principal Product Manager To Effectively Communicate With The Engineering Team And Make Informed Decisions About Product Features And Capabilities.
