If so, Gusto is looking for a Partner Manager to join our dynamic team and help drive growth through our payroll and accounting partnerships. As a Partner Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing relationships with key partners to expand Gusto's reach and impact. We are seeking someone who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.   1. Develop and implement a partnership strategy that aligns with Gusto's overall business objectives.
  2. Identify and establish relationships with key partners in the payroll and accounting industry.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of partnership initiatives.
  4. Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential partnership opportunities.
  5. Negotiate and manage partnership agreements, ensuring mutual benefit for both parties.
  6. Act as the main point of contact for partners, maintaining regular communication and addressing any concerns or issues.
  7. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Gusto's product offerings and effectively communicate them to partners.
  8. Track and report on partnership performance and make recommendations for improvement.
  9. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes, and incorporate them into partnership strategies.
  10. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop joint marketing campaigns with partners.
  11. Monitor and analyze competitor partnerships and make recommendations for differentiation.
  12. Attend industry events and conferences to network and identify potential partnership opportunities.
  13. Train and educate internal teams on partnership initiatives and updates.
  14. Continuously evaluate and improve partnership processes and procedures.
  15. Meet and exceed partnership growth and revenue targets.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Understanding Of Payroll And Accounting Processes: A Partner Manager At Gusto Must Have A Deep Understanding Of Payroll And Accounting Systems And Processes To Effectively Collaborate With Partners And Drive Successful Partnerships.

  • Experience In Partner Management And Business Development: This Role Requires At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In Partner Management And Business Development, Preferably In The Payroll And Accounting Industry. This Includes Proven Success In Establishing And Maintaining Partnerships, As Well As Driving Revenue Growth Through Partnerships.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Partner Managers At Gusto Must Possess Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Communicate And Collaborate With Partners, Internal Teams, And External Stakeholders.

  • Strategic Mindset And Problem-Solving Abilities: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strategic Mindset And Be Able To Think Critically And Creatively To Identify And Solve Complex Problems. This Includes The Ability To Analyze Data, Identify Trends, And Develop Strategies To Drive Partnership Success.

  • Proven Track Record Of Achieving Goals And Targets: The Partner Manager Will Be Responsible For Achieving Specific Goals And Targets Related To Partnership Growth And Revenue. Therefore, Candidates Must Have A Proven Track Record Of Meeting And Exceeding Targets In Previous Roles.
