We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Product Marketing to lead our efforts in targeting accountants and partners. As the Director of Product Marketing, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our business by developing and executing marketing strategies that effectively position our products and services to this key audience. We are looking for a seasoned marketer with a deep understanding of the accounting industry and a passion for driving customer growth and retention.   1. Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to target accountants and partners, in line with the overall business goals and objectives.
  2. Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify key trends, opportunities, and challenges in the accounting industry.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, and customer success, to understand product offerings and customer needs, and develop compelling messaging and positioning.
  4. Create and manage product marketing campaigns, including content creation, email marketing, webinars, and events, to effectively reach and engage the target audience.
  5. Monitor and track marketing performance, including lead generation, conversion rates, and ROI, and adjust strategies and tactics accordingly.
  6. Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners and industry influencers to expand brand awareness and generate new business opportunities.
  7. Work closely with the sales team to provide them with the necessary marketing support and resources to effectively sell to the accountant and partner audience.
  8. Collaborate with the product team to provide valuable insights and feedback on market trends and customer needs, and inform product roadmap and development.
  9. Stay up-to-date with industry developments, trends, and best practices, and use this knowledge to continuously improve marketing strategies and tactics.
  10. Mentor and coach junior marketing team members, and foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the team.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In Product Marketing: The Director Of Product Marketing Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Product Marketing, Preferably In The Accounting Software Industry. They Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Product Positioning, Messaging, And Pricing Strategies.

  • Knowledge Of Accounting Industry: A Strong Understanding Of The Accounting Industry, Including The Needs And Pain Points Of Accountants And Their Clients, Is Essential For This Role. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience Working With Accounting Software And A Deep Understanding Of Accounting Workflows.

  • Leadership And Team Management: As A Director-Level Position, The Candidate Should Have Experience Leading And Managing A Team. They Should Have Strong Communication Skills And The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams To Drive Results.

  • Strategic Thinking And Execution: The Director Of Product Marketing Will Be Responsible For Developing And Executing Marketing Strategies To Drive Product Adoption And Revenue Growth. They Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Creating And Executing Successful Marketing Campaigns And Initiatives.

  • Analytical Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Strong Analytical Skills And Be Comfortable Working With Data To Make Informed Decisions. They Should Be Able To Analyze Market Trends, Customer Data, And Competitive Landscape To Identify Opportunities And Drive Product Positioning And Messaging.
