  1. Develop and execute strategic product marketing plans to drive growth and success for our Accountants division.
  2. Understand and analyze the accounting market to identify key opportunities and trends that can be leveraged for product marketing initiatives.
  3. Lead and manage a team of product marketers to ensure alignment and cohesion in all marketing efforts.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and customer success, to develop and launch effective marketing campaigns.
  5. Utilize data and analytics to measure and track the success of product marketing initiatives and make data-driven decisions.
  6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including accountants and small business owners, to understand their needs and preferences.
  7. Act as a spokesperson for Gusto's Accountants division, presenting at industry events and conferences.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics to inform product marketing strategies.
  9. Continuously evaluate and refine product positioning and messaging to ensure alignment with target market and business objectives.
  10. Drive the creation of marketing collateral, including sales materials, case studies, and website content.
  11. Monitor and manage the product marketing budget to maximize ROI and achieve business goals.
  12. Mentor and develop team members, providing coaching and guidance to help them reach their full potential.
  13. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the product marketing team.
  14. Represent the voice of the customer and champion customer-centric marketing initiatives.
  15. Collaborate with the leadership team to shape the overall product roadmap and business strategy.
  16. Act as a thought leader and advocate for the company, promoting Gusto's values and mission.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Marketing Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Product Marketing, With A Focus On Saas Products.

  • Strong Understanding Of Accounting Principles And Experience Working With Accounting Software.

  • Proven Track Record Of Success In Developing And Executing Product Marketing Strategies.

  • Excellent Communication Skills And Ability To Work Cross-Functionally With Sales, Product, And Finance Teams.
