Desktop Engineer

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Desktop Engineer to join the Information Technology team at Guardian Life. This role is critical to maintaining a reliable and secure technology environment for our employees. This Desktop Engineer will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows and Mac Operating Systems, hardware, and software.The successful candidate will have a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and excellent communication skills. They will be able to install, configure, and maintain Windows and Mac Operating Systems, hardware, and software, diagnose and repair hardware and software problems, and provide technical support to users. The successful candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, and a minimum of three years of experience in desktop engineering. The Desktop Engineer must be able to work independently and collaboratively with other teams, have a customer-focused attitude, and possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
