Assistant General Counsel - Insurance Law

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice and guidance on insurance-related matters, including but not limited to insurance contracts, regulations, and compliance
• Analyze legal documents, including policies, contracts, statutes, and regulations, to ensure compliance with applicable laws
• Research and identify legal issues pertaining to insurance law and advise on potential risks and solutions
• Draft and review contracts, policies, and other legal documents, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with relevant laws
• Monitor changes in insurance law and regulations to ensure compliance
• Collaborate with internal departments to develop and implement policies and procedures to protect the company from legal and other risks
• Maintain open communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient legal and business operations
• Represent the company in court proceedings and other legal proceedings as necessary
• Stay up to date on relevant industry trends and developments in insurance law
