Job Description

Grubhub is looking for an experienced Web Engineering Manager to join our dynamic team. As the Web Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers to design, develop, and maintain our web presence. You will be the go-to expert for web engineering and development projects.We are looking for someone with a passion for web engineering and a commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest technologies. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and at least 5 years of experience in web engineering and development. You should be able to demonstrate the ability to lead a team and manage multiple projects.The successful candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and debug web applications. You should also have a strong understanding of web standards and technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and SQL.If you are a motivated and experienced web engineer looking to join a dynamic team, we welcome your application.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead a team of web engineers and developers to design, develop, and maintain the web presence of Grubhub.
  2. Serve as the go-to expert for web engineering and development projects.
  3. Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies in web engineering and development.
  4. Communicate effectively with team members and complete tasks in a timely manner.
  5. Troubleshoot and debug web applications.
  6. Understand web standards and technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and SQL.
  7. Manage multiple web engineering and development projects.
  8. Maintain and improve the quality of Grubhub’s web presence.
