- Develop and execute the company's overall fraud strategy to protect consumers and the Grubhub platform.
- Lead a team of fraud prevention experts and provide guidance and support in implementing fraud prevention programs.
- Identify and analyze potential risks and vulnerabilities and implement proactive measures to mitigate them.
- Continuously evaluate and monitor the effectiveness of fraud prevention strategies and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and finance, to implement fraud prevention measures and processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in fraud prevention and incorporate them into the company's strategy.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, law enforcement agencies, and other relevant organizations to stay ahead of emerging fraud trends.
- Analyze data and provide insights to inform decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct regular training and education for employees to increase awareness and understanding of fraud prevention.
- Develop and maintain fraud prevention policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
- Communicate with senior leadership to provide updates on fraud prevention efforts and outcomes.
- Lead by example, demonstrating a strong commitment to ethical and responsible business practices.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the fraud prevention team.
- Develop and manage the fraud prevention budget and allocate resources effectively.
- Represent Grubhub in industry events and conferences related to fraud prevention and risk management.
Extensive Experience In Fraud Detection And Prevention: A Sr. Director, Fraud Strategy At Grubhub Must Have A Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Experience In Fraud Detection And Prevention, Preferably In The Tech Or E-Commerce Industry. They Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Fraud Trends, Tactics, And Technologies.
Leadership And Team Management Skills: This Role Involves Managing A Team Of Fraud Analysts And Investigators. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Proven Experience In Leading And Developing High-Performing Teams, Setting Strategic Goals, And Driving Results.
Analytical And Strategic Thinking: The Candidate Must Have Strong Analytical And Strategic Thinking Skills To Develop And Implement Effective Fraud Prevention Strategies. They Should Be Able To Analyze Data, Identify Patterns, And Make Data-Driven Decisions To Mitigate Fraud Risks.
Knowledge Of Fraud Prevention Tools And Technologies: Grubhub Utilizes Various Fraud Prevention Tools And Technologies. The Sr. Director, Fraud Strategy Should Have A Deep Understanding Of These Tools And Their Capabilities To Effectively Monitor And Prevent Fraud.
