Senior Cybersecurity Engineer- Vulnerability Management

- Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies and protocols to protect Grubhub's online systems and customer data.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and address identified vulnerabilities in a timely manner.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity threats and industry best practices to continuously improve Grubhub's security measures.
- Monitor and analyze system logs and network traffic for suspicious activity and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain documentation of security processes, procedures, and guidelines.
- Implement and maintain security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and vulnerability scanners.
- Train and educate employees on cybersecurity best practices and provide ongoing support to promote a culture of security awareness.
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Participate in incident response and disaster recovery planning and exercises.
- Work with third-party vendors and partners to ensure the security of their systems and data.
- Lead and mentor junior team members and provide guidance on security-related projects and tasks.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure cybersecurity is integrated into all aspects of Grubhub's operations.
- Communicate with stakeholders and management on the status of cybersecurity initiatives, risks, and recommendations for improvement.
Extensive Knowledge Of Vulnerability Management Tools: A Senior Cybersecurity Engineer At Grubhub Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Various Vulnerability Scanning Tools Such As Nessus, Qualys, And Burp Suite. They Should Be Able To Effectively Use These Tools To Identify And Assess Potential Vulnerabilities In The Company's Systems.
Strong Technical Background: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Technical Background In Areas Such As Network Security, Cloud Security, And Application Security. They Should Also Have A Good Understanding Of Common Vulnerabilities And Attack Vectors, As Well As Techniques For Mitigating Them.
Experience In Vulnerability Assessments: A Senior Cybersecurity Engineer At Grubhub Should Have Several Years Of Experience Conducting Vulnerability Assessments In A Corporate Environment. They Should Be Able To Analyze The Results Of These Assessments And Provide Recommendations For Remediation.
