As an Assistant Counsel, you will be responsible for providing legal support and guidance to Grubhub’s business teams. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of legal matters, including contracts, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance.The ideal candidate for this role possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, is highly organized and detail-oriented, and has the ability to work independently and as part of a team. To be successful in this role, you must hold a JD degree and be admitted to practice law in at least one state. Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and guidance to Grubhub’s business teams.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Assist in corporate governance matters.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor and stay abreast of legal and regulatory developments.
- Provide legal research and analysis as needed.
- Provide advice on legal issues in a timely manner.
- Prepare legal documents, including memoranda, briefs, and other documents.
- Represent Grubhub in legal proceedings.
