Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships with our restaurant partners, ensuring their satisfaction and success on our platform.   1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with restaurant partners to ensure their satisfaction and success on the Grubhub platform.
  2. Serve as the main point of contact for assigned merchant accounts and proactively address any issues or concerns that may arise.
  3. Educate restaurant partners on Grubhub's services, features, and benefits to encourage adoption and usage.
  4. Identify opportunities for growth and upselling within existing merchant accounts.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve any technical or operational issues impacting restaurant partners.
  6. Monitor and analyze merchant account performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  7. Conduct regular check-ins with restaurant partners to gather feedback, address any concerns, and maintain a positive relationship.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, changes, and competitors to provide insights and recommendations for improving merchant account performance.
  9. Create and maintain accurate records of all communication and interactions with restaurant partners.
  10. Meet and exceed individual and team goals and targets for merchant account retention and growth.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In Merchant Account Management: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Managing Merchant Accounts, Preferably In The Food And Beverage Industry. This Includes Experience In Setting Up New Accounts, Maintaining Relationships With Existing Accounts, And Identifying And Resolving Any Issues That May Arise.

  • Strong Communication And Relationship-Building Skills: As An Account Manager At Grubhub, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Maintaining Positive Relationships With Our Merchant Partners. This Requires Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, As Well As The Ability To Build Trust And Rapport With Merchants.

  • Knowledge Of Payments And Financial Systems: In This Role, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Managing Financial Transactions And Ensuring Timely Payments For Our Merchants. A Strong Understanding Of Payment Processing Systems And Financial Procedures Is Essential To Effectively Manage Merchant Accounts.

  • Analytical And Problem-Solving Abilities: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills To Identify Trends And Patterns In Merchant Behavior And Take Proactive Measures To Address Any Issues. This Includes The Ability To Analyze Data, Identify Problems, And Develop Solutions To Improve Merchant Satisfaction And Overall Performance.
