• Counting the money in the drawers at the beginning of every shift and ensuring there is adequate change
• Greeting customers and answering questions
• Maintaining a clean and orderly checkout area
• Identifying the prices of goods and calculating bills
• Receiving payment by credit card, debit card, cash, check, vouchers, or automatic debits
• Issuing change, credit, and refunds
• Issuing receipts and coupons
• Keeping drawer currency sorted, wrapped, and organized
