Electrical Safety Coordinator

To conduct electrical safety inspections, assist in development of electrical safety training materials, conduct electrical safety and other safety training classes as required. Must stay informed and updated on all current national and local electrical codes. Changes and updates to these codes must be researched in detail and accurately conveyed to the affected company divisions. Using proper safety procedures and personal protective equipment (properly rated FR coveralls, electrically approved face shield, electrically rated boots, gloves, and other PPE as required) conduct physical electrical safety inspections on a quarterly and on an as needed basis. Contact responsible people to mitigate findings. Keep accurate records using specialized safety software, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other software to track progress. Assist with development and implementation of electrical safety training and other aspects of general safety training as required or requested.
