- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and carpentry work to ensure the proper functioning of all equipment and systems at multiple properties.
- Respond promptly to service requests and perform necessary repairs to maintain the safety and comfort of residents.
- Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify and address any maintenance issues or potential hazards.
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities, including completed work orders and inventory of supplies and equipment.
- Collaborate with property managers and other team members to prioritize and schedule maintenance tasks and projects.
- Monitor and maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop and storage areas.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with company safety policies and procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents, addressing any concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to enhance the overall condition and appearance of the properties.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments in maintenance techniques and technology.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local building codes and regulations.
- Train and mentor new maintenance team members as needed.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing the company at all times.
Technical Knowledge And Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Building Maintenance And Repair, Including Electrical, Plumbing, Hvac, And Carpentry. They Should Also Possess The Ability To Troubleshoot And Problem-Solve Complex Maintenance Issues.
Experience With Multi-Site Properties: Greystar Manages A Large Portfolio Of Properties, So The Maintenance Technician Should Have Experience Working In A Multi-Site Environment And Be Able To Effectively Manage Their Time And Prioritize Tasks Across Multiple Locations.
Strong Communication And Customer Service Skills: As A Maintenance Technician, The Candidate Will Be Interacting With Residents, Property Managers, And Other Team Members On A Daily Basis. Therefore, Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills Are Essential.
