  1. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repairs in a timely and efficient manner.
  2. Respond promptly to work orders and resident service requests.
  3. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues to determine the best course of action for repairs.
  4. Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service while interacting with residents.
  5. Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  6. Keep accurate and organized records of all maintenance activities and completed work orders.
  7. Monitor and maintain building systems and equipment to ensure proper functioning and longevity.
  8. Collaborate with team members to prioritize and complete tasks to meet deadlines.
  9. Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and address potential maintenance issues.
  10. Communicate effectively with property managers and other team members to provide updates and recommendations.
  11. Keep inventory and stock of necessary maintenance supplies and tools.
  12. Utilize technology and software to document and track maintenance work.
  13. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance tasks.
  14. Continuously seek opportunities to improve and streamline maintenance processes.
  15. Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergency maintenance requests.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Maintenance Technician At Greystar Real Estate Partners Should Have A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Ged.

  • Technical Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Strong Technical Skills In Plumbing, Electrical, Hvac, And General Maintenance. They Should Also Have Experience With Troubleshooting And Repairing Various Equipment.

  • Experience In Property Management: Greystar Real Estate Partners Prefers Candidates With At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience In Property Maintenance Or A Related Field. This Experience Should Include Knowledge Of Safety Procedures, Emergency Preparedness, And Working With Vendors.

  • Physical Ability: The Job Of A Maintenance Technician Can Be Physically Demanding, So Candidates Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Lift Heavy Objects, Climb Ladders, And Stand For Extended Periods.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: The Role Of A Maintenance Technician Involves Interacting With Tenants, Coworkers, And Management, So Strong Communication Skills Are Essential. This Includes Being Able To Clearly Communicate Maintenance Issues And Updates To Residents And Coworkers, As Well As Documenting Work Completed.
