We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Director of Investment Management Compliance & Risk to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and mitigating potential risks for our investment management business.   1. Develop and implement compliance and risk management strategies for the investment management business in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  2. Monitor and assess the effectiveness of current compliance and risk management processes and make recommendations for improvement.
  3. Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify potential risks and ensure compliance with all laws, regulations, and company policies.
  4. Stay up-to-date on all relevant laws and regulations related to real estate investments and communicate any changes or updates to the team.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and risk management processes are integrated into all aspects of the investment management business.
  6. Provide guidance and training to team members on compliance and risk management procedures and protocols.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with external regulatory agencies and serve as the main point of contact for any compliance or risk-related inquiries.
  8. Develop and maintain a compliance and risk management framework to support the long-term growth and success of the investment management business.
  9. Lead and manage a team of compliance and risk management professionals, providing mentorship, support, and guidance.
  10. Prepare and present reports to senior management on compliance and risk management activities, highlighting any potential areas of concern or improvement.
  11. Coordinate with legal counsel and other internal stakeholders to address any compliance or risk-related issues that may arise.
  12. Proactively identify and address potential risks and compliance issues before they become a problem for the company.
  13. Maintain accurate and organized records of all compliance and risk management activities and ensure all necessary documentation is complete and up-to-date.
  14. Participate in industry conferences and networking events to stay informed on emerging trends and best practices in compliance and risk management for real estate investments.
  15. Continuously seek opportunities to improve and streamline compliance and risk management processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Accounting, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 8 Years Of Experience In Investment Management Compliance And Risk Management.

  • Strong Understanding Of Regulatory Requirements And Industry Best Practices In Investment Management.

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team And Collaborate With Other Departments.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Implementing Compliance And Risk Management Strategies In A Real Estate Investment Management Company.
