- Assist the Community Manager in overseeing the daily operations of residential properties.
- Build and maintain relationships with residents, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any concerns or issues.
- Help create a sense of community within the property through organizing events and activities.
- Manage resident inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Conduct property tours for potential residents and assist with the leasing process.
- Assist with marketing efforts to attract and retain residents.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure timely completion of work orders and property maintenance.
- Collect and process rent payments, maintain resident records, and handle lease agreements and renewals.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial and administrative records for the property.
- Stay up-to-date on market trends, competition, and industry regulations.
- Assist with budget planning and management for the property.
- Train and supervise front office staff, ensuring they provide excellent customer service.
- Address any emergency situations and act as the point of contact for after-hours emergencies.
- Collaborate with the Community Manager to develop and implement strategies for improving occupancy rates and resident satisfaction.
- Ensure the property is in compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
Experience In Property Management: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 2 Years Of Experience In Property Management, Preferably In A Multi-Family Residential Setting. This Will Demonstrate Their Knowledge Of Industry Practices And Ability To Handle Day-To-Day Operations.
Strong Communication Skills: As An Assistant Community Manager, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Interacting With Tenants, Vendors, And Other Team Members On A Daily Basis. Therefore, Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, Are A Must.
Proficiency In Property Management Software: Greystar Uses Various Property Management Software, Such As Yardi And Realpage. The Candidate Should Have A Good Understanding Of These Platforms Or Other Similar Software Systems.
Leadership Skills: The Assistant Community Manager Will Work Closely With The Community Manager To Oversee The Property And Its Team Members. The Candidate Should Have Strong Leadership Skills To Effectively Manage And Motivate The Team.
Knowledge Of Fair Housing Laws: Greystar Adheres To All Federal, State, And Local Fair Housing Laws. The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of These Laws And Be Able To Ensure Compliance Within The Community.
