Job Description
  • Responsible for keeping the buildings and grounds in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Perform heavy cleaning duties such as cleaning floors, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish.
  • Ensure Animal Discovery public facilities are well maintained and stocked with product (Restrooms, Hand washing stations, Hand sanitizer stations).
  • Ensure clean pathways that are debris free. Clean snow from the sidewalks.
  • Collect Zoo garbage/ recycling.
  • Maintain clean picnic areas.
  • Assist with small cleaning and repair projects.
  • Notify management of the need for repairs.
  • Respond to radio calls for housekeeping.
