
Web Services Engineer
Contribute to the architecture, design and coding of our next generation web based business to business integration with customers. The technology platform for this is REST, or for some customers SOAP, web services written on the Microsoft .NET framework, backed by the power of C# and Microsoft SQL Server. Work with our Development Team and Business Analysts on multiple projects, with requirements, support cases, code and deployment requests tracked using Microsoft Team Foundation Server and its successor platform Azure DevOps Server. Work directly with engineers employed by customers and their integration partners on custom schema and data mapping, coding to customer endpoints, and testing for new API integrations, and on troubleshooting and correcting issues with existing integrations. Work in continuous integration/deployment environment.
Knowledge of OOP Concepts and Component Design
5+ years of software development
Extensive use of Web Service APIs and understanding of HTTP, REST, and SOAP
Experience in .NET Technologies
Experience with modern CSS frameworks like Bootstrap or Foundation
