In this role, you will oversee the nursing program and ensure the highest level of education, compliance, and quality of care. - Oversee the nursing program and ensure it aligns with the mission and values of the university.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the quality of education and student experience in the nursing department.
- Create and maintain a positive and inclusive work environment for faculty, staff and students.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing faculty and staff, providing necessary support and feedback for their professional development.
- Collaborate with other departments and university leadership to ensure compliance with state and national accreditation standards.
- Provide leadership and guidance in curriculum development and revision, incorporating current trends and best practices in nursing education.
- Develop and oversee the budget for the nursing department, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to financial guidelines.
- Foster relationships with clinical partners to provide students with high-quality clinical experiences.
- Stay updated on industry advancements and trends in nursing education and integrate them into the program.
- Serve as a mentor and resource for students, promoting their academic and professional growth.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of students and staff.
- Represent the nursing department at university events, meetings, and conferences.
- Collaborate with admissions and marketing teams to promote the nursing program and attract top-quality students.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of the nursing program to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
- Uphold the university's code of ethics and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution
Active And Unrestricted Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Arizona
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role In A Healthcare Setting
Knowledge And Understanding Of State And Federal Regulations Related To Nursing Practice And Patient Care
Excellent Communication, Organizational, And Problem-Solving Skills With A Strong Commitment To Patient-Centered Care And Continuous Quality Improvement.
