We are seeking a passionate and driven individual to join our team as the Assistant Director of Annual Giving and Alumni Relations. In this role, you will play a vital part in cultivating relationships with our alumni and raising funds to support our mission.   1. Cultivate relationships with alumni: Build and maintain strong relationships with alumni through various communication channels, such as email, phone calls, and in-person meetings.
  2. Fundraising: Develop and implement annual giving programs to raise funds for the university, including direct mail campaigns, donor outreach, and special events.
  3. Alumni engagement: Plan and execute events and initiatives to engage and involve alumni in the university community, such as networking events, homecoming, and mentorship programs.
  4. Communication: Utilize various communication platforms to keep alumni informed and engaged, including social media, newsletters, and alumni publications.
  5. Donor stewardship: Ensure proper stewardship of alumni donors by acknowledging their contributions and providing regular updates on the impact of their donations.
  6. Data management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of alumni and donors in the university database.
  7. Collaborate with other departments: Work closely with other departments, such as the development team, marketing, and alumni relations, to support university-wide initiatives and goals.
  8. Budget management: Assist in developing and managing the budget for annual giving and alumni relations programs.
  9. Alumni outreach: Identify and reach out to potential alumni donors and volunteers to expand the alumni network and increase support for the university.
  10. Reporting and analysis: Provide regular reports and analysis on alumni engagement and fundraising efforts to track progress and inform future strategies.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Communications, Marketing, Or Business Administration.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Fundraising, Alumni Relations, And/Or Annual Giving.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Executing Fundraising Campaigns And Events.

  • Strong Understanding Of Donor Stewardship And Cultivation Strategies.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build Relationships With Donors, Alumni, And Other Stakeholders.
