  1. Develop and deliver high-quality lectures, assignments, and assessments that align with the program objectives and standards of the university.
  2. Utilize effective teaching strategies and methods to engage and motivate students in the learning process.
  3. Provide mentorship and guidance to students, helping them develop critical thinking, clinical reasoning, and communication skills.
  4. Stay current with developments and trends in the field of psychiatric nursing to incorporate into teaching and curriculum.
  5. Create a positive and supportive learning environment that fosters student success and personal growth.
  6. Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement.
  7. Collaborate with other faculty members and university staff to ensure program effectiveness and student success.
  8. Participate in faculty meetings, professional development activities, and curriculum development initiatives.
  9. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, grades, and other relevant data.
  10. Serve as a role model for students, demonstrating ethical and professional behavior in all interactions.
  11. Adhere to all university policies and procedures, including those related to academic integrity and student conduct.
  12. Communicate with students, colleagues, and university staff in a timely and professional manner.
  13. Participate in recruitment and retention efforts to promote the program and attract qualified students.
  14. Continuously assess and seek opportunities for program improvement and innovation.
  15. Embody the mission and values of the university in all aspects of the role.

Job Qualifications
  • Active Rn License: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess An Active And Unrestricted Rn License In The State Of Arizona, With No History Of Disciplinary Action.

  • Master's Degree In Nursing: A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Nursing Is Required, Preferably With A Specialization In Psychiatric Or Mental Health Nursing.

  • Teaching Experience: The Candidate Should Have Prior Experience Teaching At The Collegiate Level, Preferably In A Clinical Setting, And Be Familiar With Best Practices In Nursing Education.

  • Clinical Experience: A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Recent Clinical Experience In A Psychiatric Or Mental Health Setting Is Required, With A Strong Understanding Of Evidence-Based Practices And Current Trends In The Field.

  • Effective Communication Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills, As Well As The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Colleagues And Students From Diverse Backgrounds.
