- Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum for ACNP/AGACNP students in accordance with program objectives and accreditation standards.
- Provide instruction, guidance, and support to students through a variety of teaching methods, including lectures, discussions, and hands-on clinical experiences.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback to promote growth and development.
- Utilize current evidence-based practice and clinical guidelines to educate students on best practices in advanced nursing care.
- Serve as a role model for students by demonstrating ethical and professional behavior in all interactions.
- Collaborate with other faculty and staff to ensure a cohesive and effective learning experience for students.
- Participate in program and curriculum development to continuously improve the quality of education.
- Keep current with developments in the field of advanced practice nursing and incorporate new knowledge into teaching and practice.
- Mentor and guide students in their clinical experiences, providing support and guidance as needed.
- Communicate regularly with students and provide timely responses to questions and concerns.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress and performance.
- Participate in faculty meetings, committees, and other university activities as required.
- Adhere to all university policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations related to nursing education.

Advanced Practice Nursing Degree: The Ideal Candidate For This Position Should Possess A Doctorate Or Master's Degree In Nursing With A Focus On The Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (Acnp/Agacnp) Role.
Current Licensure And Certification: The Candidate Must Hold A Valid And Active Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (Aprn) License In The State Where The University Is Located, As Well As National Certification As An Acnp/Agacnp.
Clinical Experience: A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience As An Acnp/Agacnp In A Clinical Setting Is Required For This Position. This Experience Should Include Providing Direct Patient Care, As Well As Precepting And Evaluating Students In A Clinical Setting.
Teaching Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Previous Experience In Teaching And/Or Mentoring Adult Learners, Preferably In A University Setting. This Experience Should Include Developing And Implementing Curriculum, As Well As Assessing Student Learning Outcomes.
Communication And Collaboration Skills: As An Adjunct Acnp Faculty, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Maintaining Effective Communication With Students, Faculty, And Staff. They Should Possess Strong Interpersonal Skills And The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Others In A Team-Based Environment.
