Job Description

At Graco, we are looking for an experienced and reliable CNC Machinist to join our team. This position requires someone with strong technical skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to safety and excellence. The ideal candidate should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask. They should have a strong work ethic and a desire to contribute to our team.The successful candidate will need to have a minimum of 2 years of experience with CNC machining and be well-versed in operating various CNC machines. They must have a thorough understanding of blueprints and 3D models, and be able to create CNC programs from scratch. Additionally, they should have a broad knowledge of cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and machining parameters. It is essential that they possess strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

  1. Operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, and cutting.
  2. Read and understand blueprints and 3D models to create and modify CNC programs from scratch.
  3. Ensure parts are machined according to exact specifications.
  4. Monitor and adjust machine settings to optimize efficiency.
  5. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during operation.
  6. Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
  7. Perform regular maintenance and repairs on CNC machines.
  8. Collaborate with other team members to ensure quality and accuracy.
  9. Follow all safety regulations and procedures.
  10. Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices.
