- Provide guidance and support to other team members and departments on security best practices and procedures.
- Document all security-related activities, including incident reports, mitigation actions, and risk assessments.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of security incident response plans and procedures.
- Collaborate with external security vendors and partners to keep abreast of the latest security threats and mitigation techniques.
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond to security incidents outside of regular business hours as needed.
Strong Understanding Of Security Principles And Best Practices: A Qualified Soc Analyst At Godaddy Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Security Principles And Industry Best Practices. This Includes Knowledge Of Network And System Security, Intrusion Detection And Prevention, Malware Analysis, And Vulnerability Management.
Experience With Security Tools And Technologies: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience Working With A Variety Of Security Tools And Technologies, Such As Siems, Firewalls, Intrusion Detection Systems, And Endpoint Security Solutions. They Should Also Be Familiar With Security Monitoring And Analysis Tools, As Well As Threat Intelligence Platforms.
Knowledge Of Industry Regulations And Compliance Standards: A Soc Analyst At Godaddy Should Have A Good Understanding Of Industry Regulations And Compliance Standards, Such As Pci Dss, Hipaa, And Gdpr.
