Reference Check

Reference Check refers to the process of verifying the information provided by a job candidate, employee or other individual in order to make sure that the provided information is truthful. This could include confirming an individual’s employment records, education, character, talents or abilities. Typically, organizations will obtain references from sources that can provide the most up-to-date, relevant information about the individual they are vetting. The references are asked to provide feedback about the individual’s past personal and professional experiences and qualifications.
