- Operate and maintain machinery and equipment in the manufacturing plant to ensure optimal production levels.
- Conduct regular inspections and troubleshoot any issues that may arise with machinery or equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure efficient operation.
- Monitor and regulate production processes to ensure quality standards are met.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Collaborate with other team members to identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency.
- Communicate with management regarding any issues or concerns that may affect production.
- Continuously develop and maintain technical knowledge to stay current with industry advancements.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to, attendance, punctuality, and conduct standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe and efficient work environment.
- Assist with other tasks and projects as assigned by management.
Knowledge Of Machinery And Equipment: A Plant Technician At Gillette Should Have A Strong Understanding Of How Various Machinery And Equipment Work, Including Troubleshooting And Maintenance.
Technical Skills: This Position Requires A Strong Technical Background, With Experience In Electrical, Mechanical, And/Or Chemical Systems. Knowledge Of Computer-Controlled Systems Is Also Important.
Attention To Detail: As A Plant Technician, Attention To Detail Is Critical For Ensuring The Safe And Efficient Operation Of The Plant. This Includes Monitoring Equipment, Following Procedures, And Identifying Potential Issues.
Problem-Solving Abilities: In The Event Of Equipment Malfunctions Or Other Issues, A Plant Technician Should Be Able To Quickly Analyze The Situation And Find Effective Solutions.
Communication Skills: Plant Technicians At Gillette Must Be Able To Communicate Effectively With Coworkers, Managers, And Other Team Members. This Includes Documenting Work, Reporting Issues, And Collaborating On Projects.
