Job Description

We at Georgia-Pacific are looking for an experienced and driven Site Project Engineer/Manager to join our team in a full-time capacity. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Construction Engineering, as well as 5+ years of experience in a project management or engineering role. This position requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as a keen eye for detail.The Site Project Engineer/Manager will be responsible for ensuring successful completion of all assigned projects in an efficient and effective manner. The successful candidate will be able to manage multiple projects at once, work within tight timelines, and take ownership of the project life cycle from start to finish. Responsibilities:

  1. Manage multiple projects from start to finish ensuring successful and timely completion of all assigned projects.
  2. Develop and implement project plans and schedules to ensure project goals and objectives are met.
  3. Monitor project progress, review project plans, and adjust schedules and resources as needed to meet project goals.
  4. Manage project teams and resources to ensure successful project completion.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
  6. Monitor project costs and budget to ensure projects remain within budget.
  7. Track and report project progress, identifying any potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
  8. Adhere to all safety and quality standards.
  9. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and laws.
  10. Provide guidance and direction to junior team members as needed.
