Remote Process Engineer – Automation

We are looking for a highly motivated Remote Process Engineer – Automation to join Georgia-Pacific’s team and help us drive operational excellence. The ideal candidate should have experience in process engineering and automation, and will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field, and at least five years of experience in process engineering and automation. You should have strong problem-solving skills, and be able to think strategically while maintaining attention to detail. You must also be comfortable working with a remote team and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure processes are compliant with industry regulations
• Develop and present reports to stakeholders on process improvement opportunities
• Provide technical guidance and support to other members of the team
• Research and evaluate new technologies and methods for process automation
• Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
