
Process Engineer (Pulping)
Georgia-Pacific is looking for a reliable and experienced Process Engineer (Pulping) to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking to contribute their expertise in the Pulping process to our comprehensive pulp and paper manufacturing process. We’re looking for an individual with a passion for process improvement, project management, and problem solving.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Pulp and Paper Science, Chemical Engineering, or relevant field. This individual should have at least 5 years of experience in Pulping process engineering, preferably in a paper production environment. The successful candidate will also possess excellent communication skills, project management skills, and the ability to develop strong working relationships with other departments. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement process improvement initiatives for the Pulping process.
- Perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve process-related issues.
- Monitor and adjust process parameters to ensure product quality.
- Oversee process safety initiatives and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Develop project plans for process optimization and improvement projects.
- Conduct process simulations to evaluate process performance and optimize process parameters.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure process efficiency and optimal performance.
- Monitor and analyze process data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain process documentation.
- Provide technical support to other departments as needed.
