We’re looking for a talented and enthusiastic MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) Specialist to join our team at Georgia-Pacific. We look forward to hearing from you!Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field • 5+ years’ experience with MES implementations and support • Advanced knowledge of MES applications, including SAP ME, Rockwell, PTC, and others • Proven ability to troubleshoot system issues and develop solutions • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills • Ability to work independently and in a team setting • Experience with SQL and relational databases • Familiarity with OSIsoft PI Historian a plus

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide expertise and guidance to team throughout MES implementation and support process.
  2. Troubleshoot system issues and develop solutions.
  3. Analyze and solve customer issues in a timely and effective manner.
  4. Assist with software testing and debugging.
  5. Document processes and procedures.
  6. Develop reports on the performance of the MES system.
  7. Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  8. Create user guides and training materials.
  9. Facilitate user training and onboarding.
  10. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of MES applications, including SAP ME, Rockwell, PTC, and others.
  11. Develop and execute test plans for MES system updates.
  12. Manage customer relationships and provide exceptional customer service.
  13. Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure successful system implementation.
  14. Respond to system issues in a timely fashion.
  15. Create and maintain SQL and relational databases.
  16. Utilize OSIsoft PI Historian for data analysis and reporting.
