
Maintenance/Reliability Engineer
We are looking for a talented and experienced Maintenance/Reliability Engineer to join our team at Georgia-Pacific. This individual must be a highly motivated, self-starter with a keen eye for detail and an ability to think outside the box to tackle challenging engineering problems. Our ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical and problem-solving skills, and have the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.The successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial) or a related field, with at least three years of relevant experience in maintenance/reliability engineering. We are searching for an individual who is comfortable working with advanced manufacturing technologies and has experience with predictive and preventative maintenance programs. The ideal candidate must also have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, be able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage their own workload. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn and grow with our team, and who is committed to providing superior customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and develop preventive and predictive maintenance programs for advanced manufacturing equipment
- Monitor and analyze maintenance performance to identify areas for improvement
- Develop and implement plans to reduce downtime and improve reliability
- Develop and maintain documentation for all maintenance activities
- Provide technical support for maintenance staff and assist with troubleshooting complex equipment problems
- Work collaboratively with other engineers and support staff to ensure the successful completion of projects
- Monitor and report on equipment performance and recommend corrective actions
- Identify potential safety hazards and develop solutions to reduce risk
- Develop and maintain maintenance schedules
- Assist with training of maintenance personnel
Bachelor's Degree In Engineering
+ Years Of Experience In Maintenance/Reliability Engineering
Demonstrated Ability To Lead And/Or Facilitate Organizational Change
Proven Experience In Developing And Implementing Maintenance Strategies
Knowledge Of Predictive And Preventative Maintenance Systems
Experience Developing And Managing Budgets
Knowledge Of Applicable Regulations & Standards
Familiarity With Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (Cmms) And/Or Enterprise Asset Management (Eam) Systems
