
Electrical & Instrumentation Technician
We are looking for an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to join the team at Georgia-Pacific. This experienced professional must have proven expertise in electrical and instrumentation maintenance to ensure that our facility operates safely and efficiently. The successful candidate must have the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex electrical and instrumentation issues and provide a high level of customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent technical knowledge, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities: • Perform maintenance of electrical and instrumentation systems in accordance with applicable safety and environmental standards. • Troubleshoot and diagnose complex electrical and instrumentation issues. • Install and commission new and existing electrical and instrumentation systems. • Maintain and repair electrical, instrumentation and control systems. • Test and inspect electrical systems and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair. • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for electrical and instrumentation systems. • Prepare and maintain detailed records and logs of maintenance activities. • Monitor inventory of parts and supplies and order replacements as needed. • Ensure compliance to all applicable safety and environmental regulations. • Provide technical support and guidance to other team members. • Actively participate in safety and team meetings.
