Job Description

Georgia-Pacific is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. Experience in the paper, pulp or related industries is a plus.In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of experienced engineers to design, develop, maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems and components. Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems and components.
  2. Work with other departments to ensure project completion in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  3. Utilize electrical engineering principles and practices to solve complex engineering problems.
  4. Develop specifications for electrical system components.
  5. Perform testing and analysis of electrical systems to ensure performance and safety.
  6. Create detailed reports about electrical system performance and any identified problems.
  7. Participate in meetings to discuss project status and progress.
  8. Collaborate with other engineers in the development of new products and technologies.
  9. Research and evaluate new electrical engineering technologies.
  10. Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices.
