
Supply Chain Subcontract Administrator

- Manage and oversee the procurement process for goods and services from subcontractors.
- Ensure timely delivery of all goods and services in accordance with company standards.
- Communicate effectively with subcontractors to negotiate terms and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all subcontractor transactions and contracts.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as finance and engineering, to ensure alignment of procurement strategies with company goals.
- Conduct market research and identify potential subcontractors, as well as evaluate their capabilities and offerings.
- Monitor and track subcontractor performance, including quality, cost, and delivery, and take necessary actions to address any discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the supply chain.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors to promote collaboration and achieve mutual success.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices to continuously improve supply chain processes.
- Provide regular reports and updates to management on subcontractor performance and overall supply chain operations.
- Train and mentor junior staff members to ensure their professional development and growth within the organization.
- Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks in the supply chain, including disruptions or delays.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support projects and initiatives that involve subcontractors.
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards of conduct at all times.
Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Strong Negotiation Skills And Ability To Manage Supplier Relationships.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Subcontract Administration, Preferably In The Defense Industry.
Knowledge Of Federal Acquisition Regulations (Far) And Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (Dfar).
Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Multitask And Prioritize Tasks Effectively.
