- Develop and implement supply chain development strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of product and service flow within the organization.
- Identify and analyze supply chain data and trends to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of supply chain development projects.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure project completion within established parameters.
- Monitor project progress and identify and address any potential roadblocks or issues that may arise.
- Communicate project updates and progress to key stakeholders and senior management.
- Conduct regular reviews and evaluations of supply chain processes and procedures to identify areas for optimization and improvement.
- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential supply chain disruptions.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in supply chain management to continuously improve processes and procedures.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Project Management Experience In Supply Chain Development, Preferably In A Large-Scale Manufacturing Or Defense Industry Setting.
Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Or A Related Field. Master's Degree Preferred.
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Implementing Supply Chain Improvement Initiatives, Such As Cost Reduction, Inventory Management, And Supplier Development.
Strong Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage Cross-Functional Teams And Drive Projects To Completion.
Knowledge Of Supply Chain Management Best Practices And Industry Trends, As Well As Experience With Relevant Software And Tools. Certification In Supply Chain Management (E.g. Apics, Cscp) Is A Plus.
