- Develop and design advanced space payloads for General Dynamics' aerospace and defense projects.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify potential risks and challenges in space payload systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration and testing of space payloads.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation to support the development and implementation of space payload systems.
- Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and trends in space payload technology to continuously improve and enhance General Dynamics' offerings.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
- Communicate with customers and stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements and provide timely updates on project progress.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise during the development and testing of space payloads.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Continuously evaluate and improve existing space payload systems to optimize performance and efficiency.
Extensive Experience In Designing And Developing Complex Systems For Space Payloads, Including Knowledge Of Satellite Communication, Sensors, And Instrumentation.
In-Depth Understanding Of Industry Standards And Protocols For Space Systems, Such As Mil-Std-1553, Ccsds, And Tcp/Ip.
Proven Track Record Of Leading And Managing Multi-Disciplinary Teams To Successfully Deliver Space Payload Projects On Time And Within Budget.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Troubleshoot And Resolve Technical Issues Related To Space Payload Systems.
Solid Knowledge Of Space Mission Requirements And Regulations, Including Itar And Export Controls, To Ensure Compliance And Adherence To Safety Standards.
