  1. Develop and implement material planning and scheduling strategies to ensure timely and efficient production of products.
  2. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data related to material availability, production capacity and lead times.
  3. Monitor inventory levels and identify potential shortages or excesses, taking proactive measures to address any issues.
  4. Create and maintain production schedules that align with customer demand, production capacity and material availability.
  5. Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
  6. Conduct regular analysis of production processes and update schedules to optimize efficiency and minimize costs.
  7. Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any issues that may arise.
  8. Monitor and report on key performance indicators such as on-time delivery, inventory levels, and production efficiency.
  9. Identify and implement process improvements to streamline material planning and scheduling processes.
  10. Train and mentor junior material planners/schedulers to ensure adherence to best practices and company policies.
  11. Stay updated on industry trends and developments in supply chain management and incorporate them into processes and strategies.
  12. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies related to material planning and scheduling.
  13. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate and prioritize production activities to meet changing customer needs.
  14. Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact production schedules.
  15. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to promote teamwork and achieve company goals.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management Or Related Field

  • Strong Knowledge Of Erp Systems, Specifically Sap

  • Prior Experience In A Defense Or Aerospace Industry Preferred.
