- Develop and implement comprehensive and competitive employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other voluntary benefits.
- Oversee the administration of all employee benefits, including enrollment, eligibility, and claims processing.
- Continuously review and analyze employee benefits programs to ensure they remain competitive and meet the needs of our diverse workforce.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of current industry trends and regulations related to employee benefits and make recommendations for updates and enhancements as necessary.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, finance, and legal, to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Lead and manage a team of benefits specialists, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on employee benefits, providing guidance and support to HR business partners, managers, and employees.
- Develop and maintain relationships with benefits vendors and negotiate contracts and rates to ensure cost-effective and high-quality benefits offerings.
- Communicate regularly with employees to promote awareness and understanding of benefits options and changes.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of benefits processes to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to streamline processes and increase efficiency.
- Collaborate with external consultants and advisors to stay informed of industry best practices and identify opportunities for program enhancements.
- Serve as a key member of the HR leadership team, providing strategic input and recommendations related to employee benefits and overall employee satisfaction.
Strong Knowledge Of Benefits Administration: A Senior Manager, Benefits At General Dynamics Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Benefits Administration, Including Healthcare, Retirement, And Other Employee Benefits. They Should Be Well-Versed In Federal And State Laws And Regulations Related To Benefits.
Experience In Leading Teams And Managing Projects: This Role Requires The Ability To Lead A Team Of Benefits Professionals And Effectively Manage Projects Related To Employee Benefits. The Candidate Should Have A Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Delegating Tasks, Setting Goals, And Meeting Deadlines.
