Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior International Trade Compliance Analyst to join our team at General Dynamics.   1. Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of international trade regulations and laws, including export controls, sanctions, and customs requirements.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all international shipments and transactions comply with applicable trade regulations and company policies.
  3. Conduct regular audits and assessments of trade compliance processes and procedures to identify and address any potential risks or gaps.
  4. Serve as the primary point of contact for all trade compliance inquiries and provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders on compliance regulations.
  5. Monitor changes in international trade laws and regulations and make recommendations for updates to company policies and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance.
  6. Investigate and resolve any potential trade compliance violations or issues, and report them to relevant authorities if necessary.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with external agencies and organizations, such as customs and industry trade associations, to stay informed of industry best practices and changes in regulations.
  8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation of all international trade transactions, including licenses, permits, and other required documentation.
  9. Conduct regular risk assessments and implement measures to mitigate potential compliance risks.
  10. Support the development and implementation of trade compliance training programs for employees to ensure a strong understanding of international trade regulations and company policies.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In International Business, Finance, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In International Trade Compliance, Preferably In The Defense Industry.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of U.s. Export Regulations, Including Itar And Ear.

  • Experience Conducting Audits And Developing Compliance Processes And Procedures.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams And External Partners.
