- Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in network systems, and implement appropriate security measures to mitigate these risks.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in network architecture and security to continuously improve and innovate the company's network infrastructure.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and provide technical guidance to junior network architects and other team members.
- Lead and participate in meetings and presentations with clients to discuss network solutions and address any concerns or questions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and successful project delivery.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any network-related issues or incidents in a timely and efficient manner.
- Adhere to and enforce company policies and procedures, as well as industry standards and regulations, related to network architecture and security.
- Continuously evaluate and assess the performance of existing network systems and make recommendations for improvements or upgrades as necessary.
Extensive Experience In Network Design And Architecture: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Experience In Designing And Implementing Complex Network Architectures. They Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Various Network Technologies, Protocols, And Standards.
Strong Knowledge Of Security Protocols And Best Practices: As A Sr Network Architect, The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Security Protocols Such As Ssl, Ipsec, And Knowledge Of Best Practices For Securing Networks. They Should Be Able To Design And Implement Secure Network Architectures That Meet Industry And Government Security Standards.
Proven Experience In Project Management: The Candidate Should Have A Track Record Of Successfully Managing Large-Scale Network Projects From Conception To Completion. They Should Possess Strong Project Management Skills, Including The Ability To Plan, Organize, And Coordinate Resources Effectively.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: A Sr Network Architect At General Dynamics Should Be A Strong Communicator And Collaborator. They Should Have The Ability To Communicate Complex Technical Information To Non-Technical Stakeholders And Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams To Achieve Project Goals.
Certifications And Education: General Dynamics Prefers Candidates With A Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.
