
Proposal Cost / Price Analyst

- Analyze and review cost proposals for accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Conduct financial analysis to determine the most competitive and cost-effective pricing strategies.
- Work closely with various departments to gather and validate cost data for proposals.
- Develop and maintain cost models to accurately estimate project costs.
- Understand and adhere to government contracting regulations and guidelines.
- Collaborate with proposal team to ensure all cost proposals are submitted on time and meet all requirements.
- Identify cost savings opportunities and make recommendations for cost reduction.
- Review and negotiate subcontractor and supplier cost proposals.
- Use data analysis and market research to determine pricing trends and industry benchmarks.
- Provide cost analysis and support for contract negotiations with customers.
- Communicate and present cost proposal information to management and other stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all cost proposals and related documentation.
- Continuously monitor and track project costs to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to cost analysis and pricing strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve and streamline cost proposal processes.
Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or A Related Field
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Cost/Price Analysis, Preferably In A Government Contracting Environment
Strong Knowledge Of Government Regulations, Including Far, Dfar, And Cas
Proficiency In Cost/Price Modeling And Analysis Using Microsoft Excel
Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Present Complex Financial Data Clearly And Persuasively To Stakeholders.
