  1. Design and develop complex engineering projects in the field of completions.
  2. Ensure projects are completed within scope, budget, and timeline.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions for customers.
  4. Conduct research, analysis, and testing to identify and resolve any technical issues.
  5. Generate project plans, schedules, and budgets and monitor progress to ensure timely completion.
  6. Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
  7. Communicate project status updates and any issues to stakeholders, including senior management.
  8. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  9. Conduct regular site visits to oversee project progress and ensure quality standards are being met.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in completions technology to continually improve project processes.
  11. Mentor and guide junior engineers on project tasks and provide technical expertise and support as needed.
  12. Adhere to all safety and compliance regulations in the design and execution of projects.
  13. Contribute to the continuous improvement and optimization of project processes and procedures.
  14. Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates on project progress, challenges, and successes.
  15. Collaborate with the sales team to assist with project proposals and presentations to potential customers.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree In Engineering: A Project Engineer - Completions At General Dynamics Should Possess A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In An Engineering Discipline Such As Mechanical, Electrical, Or Aerospace Engineering.

  • Experience In Project Management: Candidates Should Have At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In Project Management, Preferably In The Aerospace Or Defense Industry. This Includes Experience In Planning, Scheduling, Budgeting, And Leading A Team.

  • Knowledge Of Completion Systems: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Completion Systems Used In Aircraft, Such As Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Or Electrical Systems. They Should Also Have Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Regulations Related To Completions.

  • Strong Communication And Leadership Skills: As A Project Engineer, Effective Communication Is Essential In Coordinating With Cross-Functional Teams And Stakeholders. The Candidate Should Also Possess Strong Leadership Skills To Effectively Manage And Motivate The Project Team.

  • Attention To Detail And Problem-Solving Abilities: A Project Engineer - Completions Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Be Able To Identify And Solve Complex Problems That May Arise During The Completion Phase Of An Aircraft Project. This Requires Strong Analytical And Critical Thinking Skills.
