  1. Source and procure materials and components for the company’s systems, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and develop sourcing strategies.
  3. Conduct market research and maintain a thorough understanding of industry trends and supplier capabilities.
  4. Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure the best prices and quality for the company.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable and efficient supply chain management.
  6. Monitor and track supplier performance, identifying and addressing any issues that may arise.
  7. Forecast supply and demand to inform purchasing decisions and maintain inventory levels.
  8. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations, in all procurement activities.
  9. Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations related to procurement and ensure company compliance.
  10. Train and mentor junior procurement team members, as needed.
  11. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to provide updates on procurement activities and address any concerns or issues.
  12. Continuously improve procurement processes and procedures to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  13. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to procurement activities.
  14. Represent the company in a professional and positive manner when interacting with suppliers and other external partners.
  15. Stay updated on advancements and developments in systems and components to inform procurement decisions and strategies.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Procurement, Preferably In The Defense Industry.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Government Procurement Regulations And Processes, Such As The Federal Acquisition Regulation (Far) And Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (Dfars).

  • Strong Negotiation Skills And Ability To Develop And Maintain Relationships With Suppliers.

  • Proficiency In Procurement Software And Systems, Such As Sap Or Oracle, As Well As Microsoft Excel And Other Data Analysis Tools.
