
Procurement Specialist

- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing of materials, goods, and services.
- Identify potential suppliers and maintain relationships with existing suppliers.

- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.

- Continuously evaluate and improve the procurement process to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Stay informed about industry trends and developments to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Communicate regularly with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Participate in cross-functional team meetings and provide procurement expertise and support.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of procurement budgets.
- Ensure all procurement activities align with the company's goals and values.
- Train and mentor junior procurement staff to ensure they are following best practices and company policies.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Procurement Or Supply Chain Management, Preferably In The Defense Industry.
Strong Knowledge Of Procurement Policies And Procedures, Including Far And Dfar Regulations.
Excellent Negotiation And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Suppliers.
Proficiency In Procurement Software And Systems, Such As Sap Or Oracle, And Experience With Data Analysis And Reporting.
