  1. Maintain and administer network and system infrastructure for General Dynamics, ensuring that all systems are functioning optimally and meeting the company's needs.
  2. Monitor and troubleshoot network and system issues, proactively identifying and resolving potential problems to minimize downtime and ensure maximum uptime.
  3. Collaborate with a team of IT professionals to design, implement, and maintain network and system solutions that meet the company's business objectives and security requirements.
  4. Configure and maintain network devices, servers, and other IT equipment, ensuring that they are up-to-date and in compliance with industry standards.
  5. Conduct regular audits and assessments of network and system performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
  6. Monitor and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls, to ensure the safety and integrity of company data and information.
  7. Create and maintain documentation of network and system configurations, procedures, and policies to ensure consistency and promote knowledge sharing among team members.
  8. Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, troubleshooting and resolving network and system-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in network and system administration, making recommendations for improvements and implementing new technologies as needed.
  10. Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as industry standards and regulations, to ensure the security and confidentiality of company information.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Microsoft Windows And Linux Operating Systems.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In A Network/System Administration Role.

  • Experience With Network Infrastructure, Including Lan/Wan, Switches, Routers, Firewalls, And Vpns.

  • Excellent Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Diagnose And Resolve Complex System Issues.
